Staph infections are caused by a form of bacteria called Staphylococcus aureus. It naturally exists on human skin and inside the nose.
Everyone has this bacteria in their bodies. However, not everyone develops a staph infection.
A cut, sore or wound on the skin can become potentially very dangerous when staph bacteria enter it and go into the blood stream. That’s when a bacterial infection may develop. This usually happens when the immune system is weak.
Inflamed, pus-filled bumps on the skin form when a staph infection develops. They can be very painful. The good news is that they can be treated with a series of antibiotics. Eating well can also be very important in helping speed up the healing process by strengthening the immune system.

3. Turmeric
This golden spice originating from India is one of the powerful foods that cure staph infections.
Its main compound curcumin has strong anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antibiotic properties that eliminate germs in the body.

4. Probiotic Foods
Probiotic means live cultures or beneficial bacteria that are essential for a healthy immune system. Probiotic foods contain these live cultures.
Our bodies also naturally contain probiotics. If our supply of probiotic decreases and bad bacteria multiplies, then our immune system is jeopardized. A weakened immune system is easy prey for germs that cause staph infections.
Probiotic foods help raise beneficial bacteria in our bodies and keep them happy, which helps fight off infections in the body.
Some of the probiotic foods you can eat in large amounts to cure staph include Greek yogurt, pickled/cultured vegetables, kefir, kombucha, miso, tempeh, apple cider vinegar and others.
