Biotin is like THE nutrient you must take for hair growth. Luckily, quite a number of fruits and nuts contain biotin.
Here we have almonds, banana, avocado and flaxseeds which are all heavy-duty biotin foods.
Combine them all with a bit of water and voila! You get one of the most amazing smoothies for hair growth!
What you need
- ¼ cup soaked almonds (where to get it)
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ ripe avocado
- 1 tsp flaxseeds (where to get it)
- ½ cup water
- High speed blender like Vitamix (where to get it) or Nutribullet (where to get it)

Directions
- Into your high speed blender, add ¼ cup of soaked almonds (soak overnight), 1 ripe banana peeled and chopped into circles, the flesh from ½ ripe avocado and 1 tsp flaxseeds.

What you need
- A handful of spinach
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 apple
- 1 carrot

Directions
- Begin by thoroughly washing your fresh produce to remove dirt.
- Then, chop a pineapple ¼ way (you’ll probably get about 1 cup or more of pineapple from this). Store the rest of the pineapple in the fridge for later.
- Peel the pineapple and chop it into chunks that fit into 1 cup or 8 oz.
- Next, scrape the peel off of your medium-sized carrot and chop it into circles.
- Finally, chop your apple into chunks (without the seeds).
- Throw all your chunks into a blender and stuff in the washed spinach as well.
- Add 2 tsp of chia seeds and blend till everything has broken down.
- Lastly, add ¼ cup of water and blend again till you have a completely lump-free smoothie.
